This August we’d supplied a beautiful frigate from Brasil – NVe Cisne Branco.
Cisne Branco is the flagship unit of the Brazilian Navy. Future officers and sailors train under the sails of a three-masted frigate. The home port of the sailing ship is Rio de Janeiro. The name Cisne Branco in translation into Polish means a white swan and is a reference to the title of the march, which is the anthem of the Navy of Brazil.
The ship has three masts, whose sailing takes 2195 sq m. It is 76 meters long and accelerates to 17 knots under sails and 11 knots using the engine. The crew consists of 82 people, including 31 trainees.
